The interior of Disney Resort Liner
Disembarking from the train, the first thing that we saw was Disneyland Resort, freaking nice! 5 class, Disney themed (yes of course), from RM$1300 onwards but easily Full House. We can’t get a room here!

Took many shots but finally got this nice one. Hooray! |

We took the 2 days pass. However, you may upgrade the tickets later on which we did.

For the birthday babies, you can get a special “Happy Birthday” sticker if your birthday is on the day that you go Disneyland. It is very simple, you just need to tell the Kawai Japanese at the counter that it is your birthday. But the BIG problem is it is not easy to communicate with the Kawai Japanese because all we know to speak is “Arigato gozaimasu”, “sim mi mase” and “kawai”. LOL.
Please excuse me if I spelled wrongly.
So I was there talking to this lady telling her that it was Vic’s birthday but she couldn’t catch what I was talking. I tried several times and she kept giving me the blur face. And suddenly the same thing crossed our mind, write “birthday” in Chinese! Because some Japanese words (Kanji) are similar to Chinese words. And so I asked for paper and pen and wrote “birthday” in Mandarin. BINGO! She understood what I was trying to bring across =) Apparently, she understood English but she couldn’t catch what we were saying.
And we got this, Deng Deng! With this, everywhere we go, they will wish Vic Happy Birthday in their high pitch + kawai voice and clap hands. Damn cute their expression.

The very hard-to-get Birthday Sticker
And here it is, the long awaited Disneyland!
I guess you will love more pictures, less talking. Some here we go, let’s the pictures do the talking.
What's up Disneyland! |
|
Vic on the main street |

Then we met with the Fairy! |

We also see Alice running around |

The main street |
Vic on another shop. So excited with the design and effort.
Famous fashion store back in 1960's ?
2 of us
Wild duck is everywhere.
The Adventure Land. Build around story like Indiana Jones, Tarzan etc.
Wth~ sleep in a tree house??
Then we saw this cute little boy and old man from Up.
Big Thunder Mountain roller coaster, this is a cool one!
Then, we dropped by Haunted Mansion, the creepy and scary mansion.
Main attraction of the day! Cinderella Castle. Isn’t it cool?
It’s very hard to find vegetarian foods in Disneyland. All they got are burgers, sandwiches, steaks, rice etc. There is one restaurant that serve vegetarian food only and they only got 1 selection, it’s a vegetarian meal combo. But it doesn’t suit Vic’s appetite. So no choice, we got ourselves french fries. Presenting all the way from Tokyo Disneyland - FRENCH FRIES - first meal in Disneyland.
Damn cute right the restaurant, the waiter also Kawai~
Next, we went to Tomorrow Land where Bug Lightyear and other Space creatures live in. Space Mountain is the main attraction. I quickly asked Vic to play this first, since we couldn’t take any fast pass until 1.30pm. From the outside, the queue looked short. But after the queue on the outdoor, there was another long queue indoor!
Disneyland is very smart, every ride is unique on its own theme. For example, for the Space Mountain, indoor is designed as if you are going into a huge Spaceship, waiting to be launched into the outer space. To give this superb ambience, they need to decorate many details. For that, they make sure of the huge area for the queue which not only helps Disneyland to manage the crowd but also impress them with the cool decoration!
Upon coming out from Space Mountain, we saw a theatre about to show cast “One Man’s Dream”. So lucky, no need to wait! Without further ado, we chiong into the theatre!
It's like a musical performance, filled with all sort of Disneyland characters.
Waiting for the show to kickstart!
Snow white and her prince <3
Mickey, Donald and Chip and Dale.
Even the Antz and Bugs also came to join the party.
Quite a nice show, full of joy, music and Disney characters. If you love music and dance, this is a must watch.
Next up Disneyland at Night!
