Tokyo Trip Part 1 - The Journey

I don't know why I have a special feeling towards Japan since I was young.
Maybe it's because of my dad's job? He works for a Japanese company where he will go to Japan almost every year.
Maybe it's because of the comic that my brother and I read since young? Dragonball and Doraemon are our favourites.
Maybe it’s because of the games that we used to play? Final Fantasy, Dragon Ball GT, Metal Gear Solid and Devil May Cry.
Maybe it's because of the food? Japanese food is my all-time favourite (even though I'm vegetarian now), Sushi, Cold Cha Soba and Tempura.
Whatever it is, Japan is one of the country that I love to go to. And it so happen that Tokyo got a Disneyland and there’s where Victoria (my girlfriend) love to go. So on her 20th birthday on July 2010, we decided to go to Tokyo.

And here we go:

Tokyo, here we come!!

We departed on the night of 13th July, so we spent Vic’s birthday (14th July) on flight. To give her a surprise, I purposely browsed through the duty free catalogue on our transit flight to Bangkok to check what she liked. I bought it secretly when she fell asleep and on our flight to Tokyo, I presented the present to her at 12am sharp. She was shocked and she always thought I was very bad at giving surprises (which in fact I was).

And we finally arrived at Narita Airport after about 6 hours of flight.

Japan, here I come~~
Surprisingly, the outskirt of Narita Airport and so GREEN~

Before going anywhere, we checked out the toilet as "rumours rumours" their toilet very "IN". Yes, it was really cool and advance to the extent you could play some sound to muffle the 'dum dum" or "shhh shhh" toilet sound.
Luckily there was a guide that teach us how to use it xD
Our first destination was Disneyland. Equipped with the railway map, we started our journey to Tokyo Disneyland!
Note: From Narita Airport, there were few alternatives to go to Disneyland. You could take limousine, bus or railway.

I was freak out when I first saw the railway map. There were so many different lines!!
What do you think?? Crazy isn't it??
Though the railway lines were so complicated, Japanese could simply check "how to take the train" via few clicks on their phone! Cool!

Where to go? Which way to go?
Anyhow, we “dare dare” took the train to Maihama a.k.a. Disneyland Station. Guess what, after 45 minutes of “adventure”, we finally reached Maihama and headed straight to Tokyo Disney Resort Welcome Center to check in hotel and luggage.Luggage would be sent directly to our hotel room from here.

The Welcome Center where we checked in.

We then take the Resort Liner to Sheraton Hotel (Bayside Station).
